S.M. Rashidul Hasan is a Naval Architect. He has completed his B.Sc in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2007. Since after his graduation he has been engaged in the ship design and building industry of Bangladesh. In 2010 he went to Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden and completed his M.Sc in Naval Architecture in 2012. At present, he is also continuing his Ph.D Degree (Part Time) at BUET. Before joining DEW he served as Naval Architect at the leading ship design and building company of Bangladesh, especially at Marine House Ltd., Chittagong Dry Dock Ltd. His expertise covers the area of ship design, optimization, energy efficiency, estimation, project management, etc. At DEW, he serves as Deputy Chief Engineer at Planning & Design Department
